Torbay

Nestled in the section of coastline referred to as the English Riviera, Torbay is a series of pretty seaside towns with art galleries, boutique shops, and more often than not the tempting aroma scent of fish and chips. The weather here is often better than elsewhere in the country, thanks to the particular geography of the cliffs and bays. The beaches are typically quite safe with few waves, making them popular with families and kayakers.  Brixham is a working fishing port and offers great seafood in a picturesque setting. Many of Agatha Christie’s books are set around Torbay.
