Enfield

Situated on the northernmost reaches of Greater London, the borough of Enfield was once the hunting ground of the city’s elite. It has long been the home of kings and queens, playing host to Elizabeth I as a princess, and the final days of Henry VIII. Now primarily a residential district filled with shopping zones, there are also activities like karting and white-water rafting available. A rather unusual claim to fame is that Enfield is home to the site of the Royal Small Arms Factory, which was famous for producing some of the world’s most historic weapons; there’s an RSAF Interpretation Centre here that’s open to visitors by appointment.
