Scone Palace is a Class A protected monument located in Scone, Perthshire, Scotland. It is a serrated roof made of red sandstone and is one of the best examples of the late Georgian Gothic style in England. Scone is a historic place, originally the site of an early Christian church and later the Augustinian monastery's location. In the 12th century, the Scone Monastery became the sanctuary seat, so a large monastery residence was built, called the "abbey palace." Therefore, this structure retains the name "Palace."
