Isle of Scalpay Lighthouse
Eilean Glas Lighthouse is a lighthouse situated on the peninsula of the islet of Eilean Glas, on the east coast of the Isle of Scalpay, in the Outer Hebrides in the northwestern Highlands of Scotland. It is one of the first four lighthouses commissioned by the Commissioners of the Northern Lights (ex-NLB) and the first in the Outer Hebrides. The others are Kinnaird Head Lighthouse, Mull Kintyre Lighthouse, and North Ronaldsay Lighthouse.
This lighthouse is managed by the Northern Lighthouse Board (NLB) in Edinburgh, Scotland's coastal marine aid organization.
It is now protected as a UK Grade A listed monument.
