Westport Beach in Argyll is one of the most beautiful beaches on Scotland's west coast.

Stretching for 10km, Westport Beach is set against the backdrop of the Machrihanish Dunes, a Site of Scientific Interest (SSSI) and the largest area of dunes in Argyll.

Popular with surfers and dog walkers, Westport Beach is also a wonderful place to relax and have a picnic. The beach is nestled next to Machrihanish Golf Course, one of the best golf courses in the UK.
