The Loch Fleet shelter various species, including otters and seals, poultry and seabirds, orchids, and butterflies. The Loch Fleet Nature Reserve is a large tidal basin with dunes, coastal wasteland, and pine forests. The woodland provides habitat for species such as the Scottish crossbeak, titmouse, and pine marten. If you are lucky, you can watch otters or ospreys.
