The Mar Lodge estate encompasses over 29,000 hectares of stunning Scottish landscape: heather-covered moors, Caledonian pine forests, towering mountains, and Quoich wetlands, where wading birds and otters live.
The region has 15 Munros here (mountains over 914m/3000ft high). The beautiful old-growth pine forests are home to red squirrels and pine martens, and birds such as crossbills and black grouse. We have a broad range of landscape conservation projects underway, including woodland regeneration, trail repair, and reducing red deer damage to the woods.
