Alice and Johnny Chute welcome you to their wonderful home in Musselburgh close to the capital.. Oliver Cromwell stayed here at Inveresk House and plotted his siege of Edinburgh Castle; the house is filled with history. The magnificent main rooms are furnished with ornate antiques, squashy sofas in chintzes, flowers, gilt mirrors, gorgeous rugs and Alice's own vibrant art. Bedrooms and bathrooms come with vintage radiators, huge beds, good old-fashioned comfort. Musicians will be happy – there is a baby grand. Come to play golf (the course at Musselburgh is the oldest in the world), enjoy interesting conversation with charming hosts and history by the hatful. The city is a bus hop away from this unique bed and breakfast.
