A stunning room in a beautiful new home based in North Uist and owned and run by Neil and Marion who have a wealth of knowledge about the Outer Hebrdes and will wlecome you into their beautiful home. The view from your room looks out over the beach and the beautiful tidal island of Vallay, and on the other side to the hills of the next door island of Harris, this beach is also great for cockles (catch your own dinner) the hosts are also happy to cook these for you! The accommodation is in classic rustic style crowned with a romantic four-poster bed. You have a lounge area within the room with comfy sofas, and an ensuite shower room with all the toiletries you need. There’s a hairdryer, TV and freesat (in a cabinet though if you don’t want to be reminded of it!) and free fibre wi-fi. Heating is as green as it gets- gel radiators powered by Neil and Marion’s own wind turbines, there’s also a electric car charging point which is available to guests. Well behaved Pets are welcome by arrangements, Neil and Marion have their own dog Bailey who's a 1 and a half year old Lab, hes loves to play and make new friends.

Things to know

Cancellation.

We reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee of the full value of your first night's stay if you cancel less 14 days before your date of arrival and we are unable to re-let the room. Payment for the total cost of your stay will be charged in the case of non-arrival.

 

Cleaning.

The main ferry terminal in Lochmaddy is about 15 mins from our B&B. Vallay Sands is also 15 minutes from Bernaray where you catch a ferry to Harris and Lewis. If you see a one night gap in our calendar please ring 07769722699 or 07496657666 to reserve and book accommmodation
