Pierowall Hotel is a friendly three star inn ideally situated in the heart of Pierowall Village, the largest settlement on Westray, Orkney. Known as the Queen o' the Isles, Westray is the perfect getaway for anyone wishing to experience the relaxed pace of island life. The island itself has many amenities and attractions including several shops, both food and craft; a swimming pool, including a gym; Westray golf course, Noltland Castle; the Links of Noltland archaeological dig, including a neolithic village and a bronze age sauna, and of course several beautiful beaches. Westray also offers some of the best wildlife spotting available in Orkney. Castle o'Burrian, an ancient sea stack, is the best place to spot puffins, selkies (seals) can always be spied lounging about in Pierowall Bay, and you can even spy the occasional dolphin or orca whale pod around these shores. Westray is also well known through out Orkney for the delicious bounty of products made on the island - cheese, crab, salmon, other fish, beef, lamb, chutney and of course all the scrumptious baked goods from the local bakery. We offer light lunches and our evening menu changes daily depending on what ingredients are available to us. We serve traditional British pub food with a strong Orcadian influence.

Cancellation.
We reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee of the value of your first night's stay if you cancel within 7 days of your arrival and we are unable to re-let the room
Cleaning.
Please note that we are on the island of Westray, a 1hr25min ferry ride, or 15min plane journey, away from Mainland Orkney. If you would like to eat in our restaurant we would advise booking a table, particularly during the summer months. If you would, then you can leave us a note whilst booking your room with the time you would like and number in your party.
