A family run business Kildonan Lodge provides friendly country-style accomodation, easily accessible for both Edinburgh City centre and its surrounding areas and attractions. Dating back to 1874 the building has been magnificently restored to retain its Victorian Grandeur. From stunning stained glass windows to ornate fireplaces and classical corniced high ceilings, you will feel at home here. The perfect retreat for a romantic weekend away, leisure break or business travel. A mix of classic meets contemporary we have a range of cosy and comfortable rooms to suit all budgets from a classic double en suite room to more contemporary executive rooms or superior 4 posters. All rooms are equipped with flat screen TV, DVD, iPod Docking station and other little extras to ensure a comfortable stay, with complimentary WI FI offered throughout. Set yourself up for the day with a traditional full Scottish breakfast or for a lighter start choose the continental option from our buffet. Our Victorian Dining rooms is also open for dinner Tuesday – Saturday. Things to know
Cancellation.
We will always do our utmost to re-let the rooms. However if we are unable to re-let, the full value of the booking will be due if cancellation is within 7 days of arrival. No refund will be given for bookings during August over Hogmanay, Bank Holiday weekends, Rugby International or Royal Highland Show, and full payment for August and New Year will be due 2 weeks prior to arrival. In the event of a no-show, shortened stay or cancellation within 7 days, the booking will be charged in full.
