Hosted by HelenAbout
Situated beside the river Spey, Cragganmore House is perfectly placed for lovers of golf, whisky, fishing and the great outdoors. Explore local attractions like Ballindalloch Castle, Knockando Woolmill, the Strathspey Steam Railway and Johnstons Cashmere Visitors Centre. Having been used as a farmhouse and retirement home, Cragganmore House has been returned to how it may have looked when the founder of Cragganmore distillery, John Smith, had it as his family home. Award-winning, resident chef, Tony Allcott, and his wife, Helen, have owned and run Cragganmore House since 2000. Together, they provide friendly hospitality and culinary delights in luxurious and historic surroundings, where attention to detail is second-nature. For that extra-special visit, why not enquire about Tony's Cookery Demonstrations? Every room is beautifully appointed, while the piece de resistance must be The Turret Room, which is particularly suitable for romantic weekends.
